Nokia has this week unveiled two new limited-edition hybrid smartwatches, which will join the Nokia Steel smartwatch range immediately.
The Nokia Steel Limited Edition is available in two colours - ‘Rose Gold’ with a grey leather or pink leather strap, and ‘Full Black’ with a black leather or brown leather strap (you can choose which one you’d like at the checkout on the Nokia website).
Curiously, the Full Black Limited-Edition model has silver hands and a contrasting silver activity progress dial, so we’re not sure why it’s been called ‘Full Black’ when it really isn’t. The Nokia Steel is a rebadged version of the Withings Activité Steel from Withings, a company Nokia bought out in 2016. Nokia completed the rebranding of the Withings range in June 2017 and launched their first new product, the Nokia Body scale, in the same month. Since then, Nokia has launched the Nokia Go, an activity tracker for kids, and they also brought out the Nokia Steel HR smartwatch (HR stands for ‘heart-rate’).
Pricing and availability
As previously noted, the Nokia Steel Limited Edition is available immediately. You can pick up yours directly from the Nokia website. The Full Black model is priced at $129.95, and the Rose Gold model is priced at $149.95.
If you aren’t too keen on the Limited-Edition models, you can still pick up the White or Black stainless-steel models which are priced at $129.95. The standard models are also available with neat woven fabric straps in yellow and orange.
