The Fossil Q Neely and Q Jacqueline are Small, Feminine Hybrid Smartwatches

by in News .

Ladies, you’ve been spoilt for choice recently with the smartwatch market. We recently wrote about two new smartwatches, the Michele Connected and Skagen Signatur T-Bar, that have been designed for slimmer, feminine wrists and the best part is, neither of those devices give up any features to achieve that look. They’re good smartwatches.

And now, there’s two more devices to add to your list, if you are in the market for a women’s smartwatch. They’re called the Fossil Q Neely and Fossil Q Jacqueline, and they both have a 36mm case, making them the smallest Fossil smartwatches to date. They look great too, and you can swap out the straps to achieve any look. Here’s what you need to know about them:

Fossil Q Neely and Fossil Q Jacqueline

The Fossil Q Neely and Fossil Q Jacqueline are hybrid smartwatches with a user-replaceable coin-cell battery that offers up to 6 months’ battery life.

Internally, the two smartwatches are identical to one another with the same sensors and features. That means both will track your steps, distance and sleeping patterns. Both devices will also wake you up in the morning with a silent (vibrating) alarm. They also bring smartphone notifications to your wrist through vibration and hand animations.

There are three buttons located on the right-hand side of the cases, which let you cycle through the various features. In addition to the features outlined above, the Fossil Q Neely and Fossil Q Jacqueline also let you control your smartphone camera’s shutter by pressing a button, and you can control your music or ring your phone in the same way.

With a 36mm case, these are Fossil’s smallest smartwatches to date. They are also slim, so they are barely noticeable on the wrist. They do have different designs though. The Q Jacqueline has roman indices and a textured outer ring on the dial, while the Q Neely has standard flat indices and a matte white dial. Both models are available with a rose gold or stainless-steel case, and they have interchangeable straps.

Price and availability

The Fossil Q Neely and Fossil Q Jacqueline will go on sale soon. They will be available through the Fossil website and with authorised resellers. They will start from $155.00, which is the same price as some of the brand’s larger hybrid smartwatches, such as the Q Activist.
