Fresh from launching their Swiss-Made Connect smartwatch, Movado has launched another smartwatch through their Tommy Hilfiger brand. The Tommy Hilfiger TH24/7You (yes, it’s a rubbish name) is a touchscreen smartwatch with a casual design and a reasonable price tag, and it promises to be a hit when it goes on sale within Tommy Hilfiger stores.

The Tommy Hilfiger TH24/7You

The Tommy Hilfiger TH24/7You runs Android Wear 2.0 through a Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor. That processor is Snapdragon’s latest and greatest for Android Wear, and it can be found in all 2017’s top-tier smartwatch releases. It will go on sale soon with a $299 price tag, which is low compared to the competition. But, there’s a reason for that – the TH24/7You doesn’t have NFC, GPS or heart rate monitoring.

Why doesn’t it have those features? We suppose that’s because so many of today’s smartwatches are do-it-all devices without doing anything exceptionally.

Tommy Hilfiger wanted to get the smartwatch basics right, and by that, we mean applications, messaging, notifications, and basic fitness tracking. So, the TH24/7You is bread and butter Android Wear 2.0 with no thrills, and that’s something to be admired.

Design and Features

This is a good-looking smartwatch. It has a polished stainless steel case that extends around the back of the device. The case size looks to be 44mm, and although no screen specifications have been announced yet, we expect it to be the same display that’s found in the Movado Connect. That means it will be bright, crisp and lovely to use. There’s a button on the side of the case too which can be used to launch the applications screen or return to the watch face quickly, and we can see from the back of the device that it will use a proprietary charging dock that’s possibly magnetic.

In terms of features, the TH24/7You is basic Android Wear done right. So, you get an excellent notification and messaging features, and decent fitness tracking ability. You can also download apps straight onto the watch through the Google Play Store.

Styles, Price, and Availability

The Tommy Hilfiger TH24/7You will go on sale soon and it’ll be available with a variety of different watch straps, including stainless steel, leather and rubber variants. Something that’s missing from the range is an option for a black case or a brushed stainless steel case, so there’s only the polished one available from what we can see.

The device will also launch with Tommy Hilfiger’s own unique watch faces preloaded. It will be priced at $299, which is less than most new Android Wear smartwatches, and something that Tommy Hilfiger should be commended for since they could charge plenty more.
